Sushanta Nandi is a professional Teacher, who lives in Islampur under District Uttar Dinajpur of West Bengal, India. He is Head Teacher at Tarabari F.P. School of Islampur Block, Dist Uttar Dinajpur. Alongwith his teaching profession, Sushanta Nandi is very popular & known for various social, educational & other fruitful activities in Islampur & other parts of India & abroad. He has achieved many goals with his great efforts in different fields.He attached with a old age home.and serving for the helpless old people for the last 15 years. Sushanta Nandi has got the prestigious Gold Medalist title in Writing. He has also won & received different Awards & Medals from India & Abroad. He has visited different countries where he took part in various programs & received Awards & Medals. Photography is his passion & he love to capture special moment in his camera which makes him to form an photographic organisation. Northern Photographic Society (Islampur) is that organisation by which he organise yearly exhibition program.

Apart from his Social & Educational activities, his important hobbies includes Art, Philately & Numismatic etc. 

Sushanta Nandi is also known for his honorary works in the field of journalism. He is attached & working with different news papers & news portals like Uttorer Saradin(Bengali Daily Newspaper), Akhbar-e-Mashriq(National Urdu Daily Newspaper), Himalaya Darpan(Nepali Daily Newspaper), Bharat Darpan(Hindi Daily Newspaper), News Britant(Bengali News Portal) etc. He is the honorary Editor of television channel ES NEWS .He is also the Editor of Setu, Ichchhedana and Ebong Roddur(Literary Magazine).
